We specialize in collecting vegetable-based oils used in frying from a variety of sources such as restaurants, hotels, large fryers, and major manufacturing units in Mumbai. While we are equipped to collect all types of vegetable oils, we particularly prefer used cooking oil from palm, canola, soy, and groundnut. These oils are preferable due to their lower free fatty acid (FFA) content and higher C16 and C18 carbon molecule concentrations, making them ideal for biodiesel production and other biofuel applications. It's essential to understand that we strictly avoid collecting non-vegetable oils like motor or mineral oils due to their unsuitability for biofuel conversion and environmental regulations

What is the Main Quality requirement of UCO?
FFA in Used Cooking Oil Must be below 3% Weight, i.e. in 100 KG of Oil, the FFA shall be only 3 KG. There are tests which can determine the FFA content.
You can reduce the FFA in UCO by ensuring 2-3 frying cycles max.
What are the Other Quality requirement of UCO?
Total Metals: Less than 30 parts per million weight (wppm)
Phosphorous: Less than 20 wppm
Nitrogen: Less than 80 wppm
Chloride: Less than 10 wppm
Water: Less than 0.6% weight percentage (Wt%)
Unsaponifiables: Less than 1.5% Wt%
Insoluble Impurities: Less than 0.1% Wt%
Polyethylene: Less than 5 wppm
Sulphur : Less than 10 wppm
